Figure 3. Hosts like ash (as in this image) or sycamore may lose their leaves early as a result of anthracnose infection. However, these trees are usually able to grow new leaves.
An ash tree is in front of a brick building. The tree has lost the majority of its leaves due to anthracnose, so it has many barren twigs.
