Forest Pest Management: A Pesticide Applicator Certification Manual for Participating States in the Southeast prepares pesticide applicators for the Forest Pest Control certification examination in the states of Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. It provides information that applicators will need to know and understand when applying pesticides in a forested system. Although pest species and management practices covered in the manual may be similar to Christmas tree production, this manual and the Forest Pest Control certification exams administered by the states mentioned above do not include this crop.
