This publication discusses the results of an experiment to determine if lipid content in the uterine environment of mature cows could be altered with unsaturated fatty acid and choline supplementation.
A primary barrier to incorporating artificial insemination into beef and dairy production is the lack of educational resources and hands-on training. This publication provides an evaluation of the knowledge gained by participants who attended the artificial insemination training school organized by NC State Extension and N.C. Cooperative Extension, in partnership with genetic companies and the Department of Animal Science at the University of Mount Olive.
